Migration
Xamarin.Forms to .NET MAUI Migration
Move Xamarin.Forms apps to .NET MAUI with a written checklist, store-pipeline notes, and a paid trial week for a MAUI contractor.
Risk-Free Way to Hire
1-Week Paid Trial
Paid trial for one full week — starting rates depend on the experience level of the developer you choose (junior, mid, or senior).
Paid trial starting from
from$120 / week
Final trial fee is based on the candidate profile and seniority you select.
Xamarin.Forms is out of support. MAUI keeps your C# domain and replaces renderers with handlers. This page is the engineering brief we use before a trial week — not a sales PDF.
Checklist
- Inventory every Xamarin.Forms project, custom renderer, and NuGet that has no MAUI build yet.
- Map each renderer to a MAUI handler or a small platform project. Do not hide native work in a 'compatibility' bag forever.
- Move the Android and iOS heads to the single-project layout only after the shared UI compiles.
- Rebuild the store pipelines: new package IDs only if you intend a new listing; otherwise keep the same application ids.
- Re-run store screenshots, permissions, and 16 KB / API-level Play requirements on a MAUI binary, not the old Xamarin APK.
- Book a 1-week paid trial if you want a Prideful Apps MAUI engineer on the first vertical slice.

FAQ
Can you migrate and keep the same store listing? +
Usually yes, if application ids and signing stay the same. We confirm that in week one.
What if a plugin has no MAUI build? +
We replace it with a maintained package or a thin native binding. We do not leave dead Xamarin packages in the new csproj.
Is the trial the migration itself? +
The trial is one engineer for one week on an agreed increment. Full-app migration is a scoped SOW after that.
